Open Studio at the Hartley! Free to the public, we welcome artists of all ages and levels. Open studios occur on the last Tuesday of each month from 1:00pm-5:00pm, or later if there are artists who would like a bit more time. Although we cannot commit to supplying artists with materials, we can assist with small things like easels, paper towels, cups, etc. There will spaces for artists who prefer a quiet environment and spaces for artists who would like to talk and network with other artists as they work.

Festivities began at 6pm with the CHS band and other parade participants marching north from the First Baptist Church at 406 S. Division Street and ending at the fire station. Once the parade has passed, Trick or Treating will begin in the downtown business area from First Mid-Illinois Bank to the fire station. There will be NO costume contest this year. However, all children in costume are welcome to participate in the parade. No canned good items will be collected this year as well.
City wide trick or treating is 6pm to 9pm.

Come support a great cause at The 4th Annual Harvest Moon Masquerade Ball on Friday, November 2nd. Enjoy great food, music, a silent auction, and help support your local child advocacy centers. This is a joint fundraiser for the Perry-Jackson Child Advocacy Center and the Franklin Williamson Child Advocacy Center. The Masquerade Ball will be held at Legends at Walker's Bluff with a formal dinner. Tickets are $50 and must be pre-purchased. Business casual or formal attire and bring your masquerade mask if you would like!

Both organizations are not-for-profit agencies that serve children birth through age 18 who have been victims of child sexual abuse and/or serious physical abuse. Their mission is to provide a child friendly setting to conduct forensic interviews of child victims and provide the family with support services throughout the abuse investigation. They both work in a multidisciplinary team environment to produce the best outcome for the child victim and their family.

Timeline for the Harvest Moon Masquerade Ball:
6pm: Cocktail Hour with live music.
7pm: Dinner Buffet with live music.
8:30pm -11pm: Music by 618 Productions/Nathan Armstrong, Drinks, and Dancing!
